The bass workshop is inspired by Francois Rabbath, a 94-yr. old renowned bass virtuoso, living in Paris, France. All ages and skill levels are welcome to participate. Each day, we will begin with a warm-up class followed by technique-building exercises. Each student will have the opportunity to work closely with the teachers as we break off into small groups. There will be another technique class or jazz class during the 3rd hour. During Bass Orchestra, we will explore classical, jazz and popular music as teachers and students play all together. We will cap off the each with recitals. To close our event on July 11, all students and teachers will perform for friends and family.
